Equifax 827 (FAKO)
Be careful when looking up your credit scores. The only way to get your true FICO credit score is to go to myFICO.com
I thought I scored my highest with a credit score of 827, but I noticed the score from Equifax.com has a range of 280-850. A true FICO score has a range of 300-850.

My American Express Cards: Past and Present
In November 2008, I applied for an American Express Clear.
American Express has reported my new Clear as opened in 1990, to reflect my currently-closed Green Card.
Today, this is what Experian is showing:
*Please note, I have merged the images so that the cards are side-by-side for easier viewing. Nothing else has been altered.
You will notice that the Green card (left) indicates "Acct Type: Credit Card - Revolving Terms." The Green card was actually a charge card. I believe that is indicated as "Terms: 1 Month". My new Clear card is on the right.
Now that Experian has shown my new Clear as opened in 1990, I hope that Equifax and TransUnion will follow suit. This will hopefully improve my Average Age of Accounts, which should benefit my credit scores.

Applied for AMEX
Bored today. I think I'll apply for an AMEX.
I choose the Clear Card, as I don't want to pay annual fees.
Why AMEX? Because I have read if I opened a new AMEX card, I can have the "Member Since" backdated to that of my original Green Card, which was opened in 1990.
I know I will get a hit my credit score. But I hope the backdate will make up for that, in the form of Average Age of Accounts improvement.
